Nissan Almera 2013 cars, depending on the configuration, have a different “preset of music”. Recall that Tekna is already preinstalled with a 2DIN multimedia system with front and rear speakers. The average Comfort trim level has pre-installed 2 speakers in the front doors and audio preparation (routed wires without a radio), while the cheapest Almera comes only with audio preparation without speakers.

Which radio tape recorder and speakers to choose?

When it comes to choosing a multimedia system and installing car audio, you should first of all clarify for yourself what you need from it. If you are a lover of high-quality music with good bass and clear high frequencies, then you will have to fork out more, and if the radio tape recorder is for you "to play something", then it is quite possible to limit yourself to budget options. Modern radio tape recorders have wireless (hands-free), bluetooth, navigation system, photo / video viewing, rear parking sensors connection.

It is worth immediately deciding where you will install the speakers. If you are going to install 4 speakers (2 forward x 2 back), then you should take into account that in the Welcome and Comfort trim levels you will have to lay the cable to the rear speakers yourself.

I would also like to note that installing only rear speakers is fraught with rear passengers, as often the driver turns up the volume and makes the rear passengers listen to loud music. Plus, they won't hear what you tell them.

Installing music on the new Almeria 2013

To begin with, the owners of the minimum configuration of the new Almera will also install speakers in the door or back. Fortunately, the wires are routed to the doors, so you only need to install the speakers in the metal frame of the door, having removed the trim in advance.

After cutting it should look like this:

We put everything in place and get the following picture:

Rear Speaker Wiring

Do you want a better sound and have you got pancakes for this purpose? No problems! We cut out a place on the rear shelf for the size of our speakers, install spacers made of wood or plywood between the shelf and the speaker (optional, but desirable for better sound transmission). We fix the speakers with screws.

Now we lay the wires from the radio to the rear speakers.

First method: along the central tunnel.

To begin with, the central tunnel, consisting of two parts, must be removed by unscrewing four bolts in it. Then, through the hole in the parking brake, run the wires under the carpet on the side of the tunnel and wire them to the rear seat, making intermediate holes in the carpet for pulling. After running the wires under the seat, you need to route them to the speakers on the right or left side. It is possible and in the center of the back of the rear seat, but it will already be a "collective farm".

The second method, the most popular, is to run wires along the threshold. Most often, the right passenger side is selected. With this method of installation, we recommend laying the wire under the upholstery so that passengers do not accidentally touch it or so that it cannot be seen.

So, we pull the wires from the radio above the glove box (it is possible without this, but then the wires will be under the passenger's feet) and under it we pass under the carpet, lifting the rubber door seal, from where we lead them along the threshold to the rear seat and to the shelf through the trunk. In the area of \u200b\u200bthe B-pillar, you can, without removing the plastic cover, stretch the wires using solid wires or something similar. It is more convenient to perform this operation outside the car, by opening the doors, and fasten the wires to the threshold with good tape or ties.

Will the warranty be removed?

Dealers may argue that installing the music yourself may void your warranty. In fact, this is just such a move - they move you to play music with them at an expensive price. Self-installation of music does not provide for changing the electrical equipment of the car, wedging into the power supply system, since the wires have already been laid in advance, you just need to connect to them.

My mistress bought herself a Nissan Almera 2013 Comfort equipment. This package does not provide for music, and I, flatly forbidding her to order music as an additional option, decided to install everything myself.

A feature of this configuration is that the front doors are already equipped with standard r16 speakers, and in the rear there are no speakers or wiring for future speakers. Established speakers, it was decided to replace.

So, we need to do the following:
1 - Arrange the wiring for the rear speakers

IMPORTANT
1 point will be described in this article (Installation of acoustics Nissan Almera 2013 Article 1)
2,3,4 in the next (Installation of acoustics Nissan Almera 2013 Article 2) This is an inconvenience due to the limitation in pictures

So, let's begin. Here's what we need:
- Good mood (for work)
-1 Radio (JVC KW-R400) (2din)
-2 Front speaker set (JBL GT6-6 6.5 ")
-3 Rear speaker set (ALPINE SXE-1725s 6,5 ")
-4 Acoustic wire (8 meters)
-5 Mounting rings (4 pcs R16 15 mm thickness)
-6 Vibroplast (1 sheet)

7 Acoustic terminals (on "+" and on "-" 4 pcs each)
-8 Drill and drill bits for metal (better by 3 mm)
-9 Screwdriver set (must have an asterisk)
-10 Nippers and Pliers
-11 Self-tapping screws with a wide thread 35 mm (10-12 pcs)
-12 Insulating tape

-13 Adapter ISO (NS-04)

-14 Antenna adapter (unfortunately I don't remember the model)

Begin!

We remove the front panel from the torpedo. To remove it, you need to take it from below and pull it towards you, thanks to the effort it will unhook.

Using a screwdriver, we unscrew the asterisks 4 screws that hold the two metal bases, the latter, in turn, are screwed to the plastic box and bar. (Instead, this picture is my radio). These bases can be easily screwed onto a 2-din radio without even needing a frame.

Having removed the plastic strip and the box, we will see the standard connector for the antenna (1) and ISO (2). For which we have in store the adapters mentioned above.

We take the acoustic wire and pass it through the hole where our radio tape recorder will stand under the lower part of the torpedo

Under the torpedo we lead and fix (with collars, electrical tape, 2-sided tape, anything))) the wire to the front door pillar. (I decided to insulate the entire wire)

We remove the plastic lining of the sills

And remove the lining of the central door pillar

We pass the wire under the casing next to the threshold to the central door pillar.

We lift the wire along the central post to the hole
and we put it in the cord,

this way we get to the door

We clean the wire and put the acoustic terminals on the ends (black - negative - small terminal; red positive - large terminal)

We put the facing of the rack and the threshold in place.

Thus, the wiring for the rear doors is ready.

After we pulled the speaker wire into the rear doors, the following remained:
2 - Install the speakers in the rear doors
3 - Replace the standard speakers in the front doors
4 - Install the radio tape recorder, power it up and connect our speakers to it

Let's start installing speakers in the door, everything is simple.

First, remove the door trim. This requires:

Remove the power window handle. Use a screwdriver to pick up and pull out the bracket. Like on a picture

We remove the cladding that is located around the door handle (it is not difficult to snap off)

We remove the plastic contraption (forgive me for not being literate in the names of many parts). It is just as easy to snap off with a flat screwdriver

Unscrew 2 screws

We remove the skin, which is held only by the caps. To do this, you need to grab the bottom edge and gently but strongly pull towards yourself)

After removing, we will see such a picture. This foam curtain must of course be torn off.

Now for the fun part:

We take a vibroplast and cut out a gasket from it for our ringlet

We glue a ring made of vibroplast on the door

We drill 4 holes with a drill with a 3 mm drill

And we fasten the ring to the door with self-tapping screws on the resulting vibroplast gasket

We cut out another ring from the vibroplast and glue it on top of the resulting podium

Now we connect the column. (the speaker terminals were prepared) And we attach the speaker to the ring with screws

We put on the door trim in the reverse order.

Stage 2 of our work is ready

Everything is simple and without pictures:
-remove the front door trim,
-Unscrew the column,
-cut off the standard wire that powers the speaker,
-we put acoustic terminals on it
-the same way, as described above, we make podiums and attach new speakers to them (just like in the rear doors)
- put in place the front door trim

4th and final stage Connecting speakers to the radio

At this stage, we have the following:
- New speakers in the front doors that are connected to the standard wiring and go to the future radio tape recorder through the standard ISO output
- New speakers in the rear doors for which new wiring has been arranged. The latter, in turn, is not connected anywhere and simply "sticks out" in the form of 2 acoustic wires from the torpedo

It's time to connect the speakers to the radio. I decided not to mount the wires from the rear speakers to the standard ISO output, thus avoiding unnecessary hassle, but to mount them into the purchased ISO adapter.

For this:

We take our NS-04 adapter

We find on it 4 wires with the inscriptions: right rear negative; right rear positive; left rear negative; left rear positive (2 purple and 2 green wires respectively)

Cut them in the middle

We clean the ends of the above

We clean the ends of the wires that go from the columns of the rear doors

Connect the right rear negative wires with a twisted pair to the black wires from the right speaker; right rear positive with red from the right column;

Left rear negative with black from the left column; left rear positive with red from the left column.
We isolate everything that happened.

We connect the standard ISO through the purchased ISO adapter to the radio tape recorder. In the same way, but through the antenna adapter, we connect the antenna.

We fasten the radio tape recorder with 4 screws into the torpedo.

That's all.

We get good sound thanks to our work. And, which turned out to be very important for my soul mate, a very aesthetic appearance of the radio in the torpedo.
